The Big Bang Theory season 12 premiere promo: Early expectations!

Big Bang Theory season 11 episode 19

With the premiere of The Big Bang Theory season 12 (otherwise known as the final season) just one week away, why not take a look at another preview all about what you can expect?

The promo below is one of the most in-depth looks that we’ve had at the new season, though it doesn’t necessarily give too much away in terms of major plot points. Nonetheless, this does offer you another look at Kathy Bates and Teller as Amy’s parents; what may surprise you, though, is that their story actually has more to do with Leonard and Penny than it does their own daughter. Leonard and Penny are going to wonder if they have a little too much in common with Amy’s mom and dad, and we wonder if that could have them thinking more about themselves and their future. Perhaps more so than anything at the moment, we really want a good storyline for these two in the final season, given the fact that they haven’t had anything super-meaty in a good while.

For some of the other couples on the show, it’s a little bit easier to chart where some of their stories are going to head. After all, just remember that Sheldon and Amy are going to be on their honeymoon during the premiere. Meanwhile, you are also going to have a chance in order to see where things are for Howard and Bernadette now as they try to figure out what’s right for their family. They’ve got two young kids now and while that takes up a lot of their time, they also don’t want it to define them in the process. We imagine that some of their stories are going to be relatable to many young parents out there, who often find themselves asking many of the same questions.
