Station 19 season 2 poster puts Andy Herrera front and center

Station 19

ABC has just released their Station 19 season 2 poster, and we think that secrecy is really the key here.

You can see the poster below, and you really shouldn’t be altogether shocked that this poster is featuring only Jaina Lee Ortiz’s Andy Herrera. She is the primary focus of the show, but beyond that the fates of so many other characters are still up in the air! We have a feeling that producers don’t want to give too many details away out of fear that they could ruin the cliffhanger at the end of this past season.

So what is coming up story-wise moving into season 2? There are a number of different things to look out for, with one of the biggest ones being getting to expand the lives of some of the (surviving) characters moving forward. Ryan’s father is one of the characters who we are going to meet, and we imagine that this is really just the tip of the iceberg.

Elsewhere, we’re also going to have a chance to see, of course, a little bit more danger, but also more crossover opportunities with Grey’s Anatomy. With the two shows starting now at the same time, there are probably opportunities for them to plan some things out long in advance that they may not have been able to otherwise. That, at least for us, is a pretty exciting proposition.

If you enjoyed season 1 of Station 19, we’ve got every reason to think that season 2 will deliver just as much. We do personally hope that the show figures out a way to resolve everything that happened in regards to the race for captain, mostly because it feels like we’ve done a great deal with that story at the moment.

Station 19 season 2 premieres on Thursday, October 4, one week after Grey’s Anatomy debuts with a two-hour premiere. This’s the reason why the show isn’t on in September.
