Arrowverse crossover casts Grimm alum Elizabeth Tulloch as Lois Lane

Superman -

The search for Lois Lane on the upcoming Arrowverse crossover event has reached its end — Elizabeth Tulloch has landed the part!

The CW announced on Friday that the actress, otherwise known as Bitsie Tulloch, will be playing Lois across the upcoming event airing on the network a little bit later this year. She appeared in more than a hundred episodes of NBC’s Grimm during its run, and some of her credits before that include The West WingThis is actually not the first time that she has performed with a famous Superman (this time Tyler Hoechlin), as Tulloch previously worked with Tom Welling on Parkland.

As for whether or not this is a role that we could see Tulloch reprising in the future of Supergirl, that is certainly something that we consider to be a strong possibility. It all just depends on if there are some good story reasons to make it happen. We just know that it makes some sense for the series to use her as much as possible. Given that both Kara Danvers and newcomer Nia Nal are reporters, why wouldn’t the show want to bring her back to maybe offer up some skill or insight? She’s been doing this job far longer than anyone and should be very capable of giving them some more information as to how to deal with what is a rather-unusual life. She may not be a superhero herself, but without her efforts it’s pretty clear that Superman would not be able to do what he does.

Supergirl season 4 is set to premiere on The CW this October, so we still have a little bit more of a wait, but we will continue to bring you more scoop on the series!
