Westworld season 3 casts Aaron Paul as mysterious series regular
In a new post on Instagram (which you can check out below), the Breaking Bad / The Path alum confirmed that he is going to be a big part of the upcoming season of the HBO series. There is very little information out there about the character at the moment, but Deadline is reporting that he will be a series regular.
Really, we should just be lucky that we know Paul is in Westworld, since that alone is a huge reveal for one of TV’s most-secretive shows. We’d be shocked if we get a substantial amount of news about this show over the next few months just because it is still so far away and it’s just not how this show operates. the masterminds behind this series likes to throw you into the wonder and suspense, and with that, loves to keep you guessing at every turn.
Ultimately, just know that they are working to make season 3 as stunning and as visceral as possible — based on his past work, Paul is an exceptional addition to the cast as an actor who can tackle multiple genres and can play well in this imaginative world. He can be incredibly likable, but also incredibly dark — these two facets were central to Jesse Pinkman on Breaking Bad, and it was about as wonderful of a breakout role as you are going to find.
