Outlander season 4: Will there be another trailer before premiere?
From a sheer standpoint of greed, of course we’d like to see more of the series! It’s rather hard not to given that we’re talking about an episode 13-episode season coming up with a lot of content. There are so many events and characters not referenced in this trailer that are very much important.

Yet, we also do think that Starz is going to want to hold some of its cards close to the vest, given that they don’t always have a tendency to give out all of the scoop when it comes to their shows in advance. They prefer to keep us waiting, and waiting is precisely what they are going to do over the course of the next couple of months. We’d be surprised if there is another trailer that is a minute or more in length between now and the show’s November 4 premiere, largely because there’s no real need for them to put too many more out there. We’ll probably get a few more 30-second promos and teasers, but they may be largely comprised of footage that we’ve seen already.
The biggest thing that we’d hope for before the premiere is a potential behind-the-scenes featurette where Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan talk about the process that went into making the season, whether it be the costumes, the settings, or other content. We could envision potentially a midseason trailer released come episode 7 or so, especially if the series ends up taking a two-week hiatus during the holidays.

Of course, there’s a chance that you may see something so much better than a trailer if you attend New York Comic-Con; there’s a chance, after all, that Starz unveils the full premiere for the audience to enjoy there. There are no guarantees, but we certainly do think it’s interesting that the panel at the convention is an hour and a half — that’s long enough to screen the pilot and do a Q&A with the cast and producers after the fact.
