Quick Hits: The Good Place season 3 opening; 13 Reason Why star’s new gig; STAR season 3 promo

In this edition of CarterMatt’s Quick Hits, we’re starting off with some very-good news in regards to The Good Place — you can watch the full season 3 opening now!

If you take a look below, you will get a chance to check out a full scene that is all about Michael (Ted Danson) traveling to Earth in order to change the futures of Eleanor (Kristen Bell) and many of the other characters, giving them a chance to actually continue to live their lives to see if they’ve really learned anything from their time in the Bad Place. The entire scene is amusing, largely due to the presence of Mike O’Malley as the Doorman, a guy who apparently likes frogs and has not heard a joke in thousands of years.

This feels like a good start to what is for the most part a mysterious season, as it’s not entirely clear just how the story for Eleanor and some other characters will move forward in the real world.

As for some other updates on the day…

13 Reasons Why star’s new gig – It was clear already that Katherine Langford would not be returning to the Netflix drama, and that’s been confirmed further now by the news that she is joining a different Netflix series in Cursed, which is meant to tell the origin story for the Lady of the Lake. Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler, two very creative and genius minds, are the forces behind the series.

The latest STAR season 3 promo – Just in case you wanted a good sense as to what lies ahead, at least in terms of drama and shocking character interactions, we do think that this preview (which you can check out below) does the trick. It’s a lead-off to many different mysteries on this upcoming season, whether it be a pregnancy or what is going on with Carlotta, who will get a helping hand at times over the course of the upcoming episodes.

STAR season 3 is going to premiere on Fox later this month.
