Castle Rock season 2 premiere date hopes for Hulu – Stephen King series
Earlier this summer, Hulu confirmed that they would be bringing back the Stephen King series for another batch of episodes, which is hardly a surprise when you think for a minute about the creative pedigree that is present here. If you are deeply involved within the world of television, it makes a certain degree of sense that you would want to be involved with Stephen King. He is one of the greatest creative visionaries out there and is responsible for creating some of the scariest franchises of all time – (not to mention our favorite film on the planet that scares the pants off of us in The Shining).
What is somewhat interesting about Castle Rock season 2 is that it is going to be telling an original story, but also one set within the King universe. Speaking to Variety earlier this year, here is what Craig Erwich of Hulu had to say about the success of the show so far:
“It was a deeply original idea from two of the world’s greatest storytellers, and it was centered around something that’s been beloved and familiar to many of Stephen King’s legion of fans, which is the town of Castle Rock. So expectations were high to begin with, but it exceeded them … The reaction from the variety of audiences has been overwhelming and it seems to be one of the most talked about shows of the summer.”
As for when a Castle Rock season 2 could premiere, we would say that it’s best for you to be patient. It’s possible that we’ll get it around the same time next year, but we are in this era now where streaming providers are especially patient when it comes to some of their properties. They recognize that there is often no reason to hurry a show along faster than they really need to because fans will come back whenever it’s ready. if a show is good, people will wait for the right story at the right time – just look at a show like Sherlock. There are years between seasons and their ratings are always just as good.
