For everyone out there still enjoying the idea of seeing familiar faces from The Fosters over on Good Troubleyou’re going to love this news.

Earlier this week, Freeform confirmed that David Lambert, who plays Brandon on the series, is going to be stopping by for at least one appearance on the spin-off series. He joins the likes of Sherri Saum, Teri Polo, Hayden Byerly, and Noah Centineo in appearing on the show. Basically, the producers have done a great job of finding a way to bring in a number of familiar faces from the original show over here and that may help transition that audience into the new stories.

As for what we can expect from David Lambert on Good Trouble, it’s obviously going to begin with getting some sort of update on life for Brandon in the time since the original show ended. We saw him get married, just as we saw everyone come to terms with that and what his life may mean moving forward. With his close proximity to where Callie and Mariana are, we have to think that there are more possibilities that he could appear beyond just this episode.

Good Trouble is slated to premiere in 2019, with the premise being loosely set around watching Callie and Mariana try to make life work for themselves in Los Angeles, where they are embarking on the early stages of their careers. For Callie, that means working under a very-conservative judge. Meanwhile, for Mariana this means entering the tech space and finding a place for herself amidst many of the difficulties that can come with being a woman in a male-dominated industry. What we’ve come to know about both of these characters over the years is that they are very much smart and resilient; with that in mind, we feel like they are going to conquer many of the roadblocks that stand in their way on their journey to happiness.
