Grey’s Anatomy season 15 promo: The Meredith – DeLuca shocker
First and foremost, we have to talk about what we saw with DeLuca and Meredith! In the closing minutes of the promo you can see the two — who kissed in the season 14 finale — actually sleeping together. It’s mostly surprising because the kiss seemed to be somewhat random and Meredith didn’t know what to make of it other than being “flattered.” We’re still not sure precisely what to make of this, though, or if Meredith / DeLuca is actually some sort of pairing we’re supposed to get behind as a real thing. There are just so many reasons to think that it may not be, starting with the idea of DeLuca being potentially unlucky in love. Most of the people who he develops feelings for don’t necessarily feel the same way back.
Also, there have been many teases out there already suggesting that Meredith may be dating this season. Our assumption with this was that she may end up dating a number of people … but you know what they say about assumptions.
This promo does hint at a few other things, as well, whether it be drama, big moments, and also introductions to new characters including Chris Carmack’s “Ortho God.” The fact that he is referring to himself as that really says a lot about the sort of person he is. Yet, the good news here is that he seems to be saying that somewhat comedically, as opposed to doing it because he is incredibly arrogant or full of himself.
Grey’s Anatomy season 15 will premiere with two hours on Thursday, September 27. We have a feeling that we’re going to have a lot more to say soon.
