The Last Ship season 5 premiere sneak peek: Tom Chandler’s new life

In this, you can see that Chandler is now spending some of his days as a teacher, working to inspire future men and women in the Navy to live their best lives. It’s an interesting look at the story ahead and it also poses an interesting question for Chandler: Without war, what is there for him to do? He’s spent so much of his life and career fighting for something, and entering this season, he’s had to get used to a very different, almost-peaceful climate.
Well, in the end Chandler can’t get too used to this new life, mostly because things are not going to stay peaceful for all that long. There is going to be some more chaos coming very soon for both him and a number of different characters, as a new and very-serious threat is going to emerge. This is someone who is going to make it their goal to ensure that there is war on a larger scale, largely due to the spread of misinformation. The United States is going to effectively find themselves in the midst of a battle that they wanted no part in, but they have no choice but to participate in now. That’s just the way that the chips have fallen for them.
