SEAL Team season 2 spoilers: What is the story set to explore?

SEAL Team season 2

Want to know what’s coming up on SEAL Team season 2? You may have heard a few teases here and there, but this particular piece is talking more about the story on a larger scale.

Over the course of this season, you will have a chance to see a more personal side to some of these characters. We know what these characters are like out in the field, but what happens when the going gets tough back at home? You saw some heartbreak and pain over the course of the first season, but with this up coming season, everything could escalate … or at least it could at first. It’s possible that on the other side of all of this pain that there is hope for a better, brighter future.

Speaking via Variety, here is what executive producer John Glenn had to say:

“Season 2 of ‘SEAL Team’ is all about family. A Tier One operator like Jason Hayes (David Boreanaz) balances two families — his family at home and his brotherhood in the SEAL Team. Last season, we watched Jason and Bravo team deal with devastating losses in the field. This season, the losses hit closer to home, allowing us to explore how both of Jason’s families fracture, come back together, and ultimately become stronger as a result. Season 2 also finds the SEAL Team operating in new regions of the world, including Mumbai for a special two-part episode and Mexico for an extended mission with the Mexican Marines.”

Overall, we do think that SEAL Team is a show meant to be about heroism, and about celebrating the people who go out there into the field and risk everything. While this is a series with a good many struggles at its core, we do think the end message here is meant to be positive.
