The Last Ship season 5 episode 2 preview: Surviving with limited resources

The Last Ship season 5

Want to know what lies ahead on The Last Ship season 5 episode 2? Let’s just say that this episode will test the Nathan James in big ways.

Basically, the premiere focused on a vast conspiracy that caused a number of lives to be lost and with that, America’s Naval fleet to be depleted. Right when it seemed as though the world was stable and we were going to have something resembling peace, that all went to hell in a hand-basket. There was chaos virtually from start to finish and now, it’s all about survival in the midst of a massive one — one that doesn’t seem as though it is going to get better anytime soon.

For a little bit more news regarding what lies ahead, check out the full The Last Ship season 5 episode 2 synopsis below:

Thrust back to World War II era military technology, Nathan James must think fast to survive a fight with limited weapons capabilities.

Basically, this episode is going to be a story about heroes trying to fight through despite limited resources, and there is certainly not a whole lot that many of them are going to have going for them. This is an underdog story, but it’s also firmly in the vein of what we expect from this show. If the crew of the Nathan James were actually front-runners, then we would probably have a very different perception of the series as a whole. It’s about them finding a way to fight through almost every single circumstance that they are pushed up against and seeing who can survive to the other side.

While we’d love to see every major character make it to the series finale, we have a feeling that, when the dust settles, not all of them will make it there.
