Better Call Saul season 4 episode 7 preview: The story of ‘Something Stupid’

Better Call Saul season 4

Next week, Better Call Saul season 4 episode 7 could continue the descent of Jimmy McGill into Saul Goodman — and based on the title alone, it’s not something that he’s altogether excited about it.

After all, we are gearing up here for an episode that is called “Something Stupid.” If that’s not a crazy indictment for some rather-unfortunate stuff coming up in the future, we don’t know what is. We imagine that we’re going to be gearing up for an episode with at least some movement — we don’t want to call anything in here a jaw-dropper, mostly because that feels wrong when you’re talking about a show with a predetermined ending.

The title is what intrigues us the most, given that if these words are coming from Jimmy’s lips, it is a recognition on some level that he recognizes that he is slipping and making mistakes. He recognizes his own role to some extent. Are we potentially reading too much into this? Maybe, but in the end that’s a big part of what makes Better Call Saul great – different perspectives and giving us all so much to discuss week inand week out.

For a little more insight, check out the Better Call Saul season 4 episode 7 synopsis below:

Jimmy expands his business, but runs into a problem that only Kim can solve. Gus intervenes in Hector’s medical care. Mike deals with a setback.

What are we hoping to see over the course of the hour? It starts and really ends with Jimmy and Kim, mostly because we wonder with each passing day if Jimmy is past the point of no return. Are we finally nearing it now?
