American Horror Story: Apocalypse trailer coming tomorrow; see preview

The American Horror Story: Apocalypse trailer is coming tomorrow, and with that, today we come bearing what is the teaser for the trailer.

If you look below, you can get what is the first (super-small) tease of what is coming tomorrow, whether it be chaos, familiar faces, death, and of course some super-freaky imagery. Hopefully, this is a sign that the new season is going to bring some sort of cohesive narrative to go along with all of the violence and surprises you’ve come to expect from the series. That’s something that we will almost surely be talking about further in the weeks to come.

The fact that we are even getting a teaser shows that FX and executive producer Ryan Murphy at least want us to have some idea as to what this story is about in advance. Some past seasons of the series have done different things when it comes to promotion. We are still having flashbacks of American Horror Story: Roanoke, which was probably the riskiest season of the show but also one with virtually zero spoilers about the plot in advance. (We also think that this is the most underrated season of the show — the first two remain the best, but we would probably slot this one in as our #3 favorite, with Coven probably around #4.)

As we start to move into this season, let’s just hope that the producers find a way to make this about something more than great visuals, as well. This is one of larger concerns — that we’re going to be set with something that is very much all flair, but doesn’t offer anywhere near as much when it comes to substance.
