The Big Bang Theory season 12 spoilers: Keith Carradine returning
According to a report coming in via TVLine, the Madam Secretary star / Dexter alum is going to be back for at least one episode as Wyatt, who brings a little bit of home-spun humor to the show and a different perspective on Penny’s life. We’ve gotten to get to know her a good bit over the course of the series’ run, and that includes meeting some other members of her family. The show did take a lot of time before giving us a chance to really get to know everyone, but we’ve had an opportunity to better understand where she comes from and also why she wants what she does out of her life.

So what would we like to see from Penny moving forward in the final season? We don’t think that it has to be as simple as just seeing the next phase of her marriage or her having to start a family. It’d be nice to see if she is really happy in her career long-term, or where Leonard and Penny are going to end up living. Given the amount of money that they make, are they going to want to stay in that apartment forever, especially since they haven’t fixed the elevator over the course of the past several years? We do think that we’re at a time in which to see these characters turn the page. This series was about capturing a certain time in these characters’ lives and now, we’re turning the page and moving onto the next thing.
