The Blacklist season 6 spotlight: The future for Samar Navabi

1. Show Samar’s recovery – We know that a time jump at some point is possible, but we do hope that the writers don’t just ignore what happened to Samar at the end of last season. She almost died! How does that change her? How does that give her a new perspective on life? These are things that would shake anyone, even someone who has put her life on the line so many times before.
2. Give us more of her past – She came on the series with an extensive background already in law enforcement, and that’s something we could see dived into a little bit more. One fun possibility that we could imagine for her is that it’d be interesting to see her help Aram with his own development as a field agent, knowing some of the mistakes that she made along the way.
3. More missions alongside Liz – This is a relationship that we’d like to see explored a little bit more, especially in the event it does become clear to Samar what Liz is doing to uncover Reddington’s true identity. Ultimately, we do consider it to be an interesting story possibility to explore.
4. Of course, the wedding! – Given that Samar and Aram are now engaged, there’s a really fun opportunity to explore wedding planning and the like. While we understand that there’s a case to be made for the two parties eloping, we don’t really want to see just that on the show moving forward. We’d rather the writers look at some opportunities for fun, more-vulnerable stories for this character where we learn more about her.

This is not the first time Samar has almost died in the show, (The Front), and it should not change Samar at all. What would change her is to find out she is pregnant or that there is a rule against her and Aram getting married and working together but that is still to be seen.
As for being a Mossad agent that is best ignored after Lippet as it calls her loyalty into question and as to Aram and field training that ship sailed in hiatus before 5B began. They snoozed we lost.
Not reading any where people people wanting to see more Samar and Liz assignments. They stink as partners go. People want more Liz and Donald. I would like Samar ans Elise/Janet as that would make Aram squirm and most likely they will try Liz with Aram as that would be interesting to see how things have changed since Garrick. Personally would like Samar and Liz to go undercover in the military or in a school or prison for women but working slightly apart, guard/prisoner, officer/enlisted,student/ professor. They could coordinate research but each keep her own style. Samar is more assassin by design Liz is more adlib and manipulate. They do not work well as a team. the best [partner for Liz is Red but if not Red, Kate though Kate and Tom are Gone so time to test out Aram, Dembe or Lillian.
As Aram and Samar are Jewish you might have a problem with the wedding. It would be fun to find out Red is a rabbi but the bigger fun would be if their family wanted to be included and Samar’s family are terrorists. Something tells me the best way to handle the wedding is to elope and get married in Vegas. Chapel o Live raided ny the Post Office find Aram dressed up like Dr Who and Samar and he get married inside a Tardis.
AS FOR WHAT NEXT:
Assume ARam is still NSA and Janet was NSA finding its way in the FBI but basically he is spying on Red and Liz and Samar will find out that Aram is not who he says he is come wedding time. Samar will have her own Tom problem as Aram is only playing stupid about women or weapons and fact is his specialty i deep cover missions. Question is ironically now that Samar is in Liz’s bare feet what will she do about Aram, the man who turned her into Donald for finding Red for Liz once she figures she is pregnant by a spy who was not targetted by but worked with Janet and the thrush who are also NSA but black op undercover as hackers.
This is all layering on the same ideas to create a deja vu in the audience as in why is Samar following in Liz’s and Red’s/ Katarina’s foot steps?
