MacGyver season 3 episode 5: The Halloween episode title revealed!
Per a new Instagram post via Justin Hires (Bozer), the title for this particular episode is “Dia de Muertos + Sicarios + Family.” This title basically confirms some of the internet speculation that Dia de Los Muertos was going to be a part of the story. We’ve also seen a number of behind-the-scenes photos already that feature Hires and Tristin Mays (Riley) in front of Halloween decorations. This episode may ultimately pay homage to both holidays, while also giving you a chance to see a lot of drama and also some good moments for the Phoenix Foundation crew.
This episode is probably going to air right before Halloween based on the timing of the show’s September 28 premiere and the episode number — provided of course that it airs in the same production order. There is an element of mystery as to what the long-term story of this season is going to be, other than that we know that both Oversight and Murdoc are each going to be appearing in the premiere episode. You will also be seeing more Leanna — Reign Edwards was listed as recurring in the press-release for the premiere, so that’s largely what we are expecting moving forward this season.
Let’s just hope that MacGyver season 3 delivers some constant entertainment — and that there are a few surprises that the producers have in store. This is a show that is at its best when there are some great twists mixed with heartfelt characters moments.
