Wynonna Earp season 3 episode 8 preview: It’s date night!
The title for this episode is “Waiting Forever for You,” which is really a romantic title in a series of fairly-romantic ones this season. These titles give you hope and warm your heart … but the show still does reserve the right to break it. We’ve gotten close to that a few times this season in between seeing Wynonna and Doc’s issues and also seeing someone like Jolene try to throw a wedge between Waverly and Nicole. Given that there are still some stories to come this season, we imagine that there’s still going to be pain interspersed between the opportunities that we have to laugh.

It’s Date Night in Purgatory, which means Dressing Up, Drinking, and Fighting Demons, as a formidable former foe stalks the gang.
It’s of course the “formidable former foe” part of this that sends a chill down our spine and has a little worried … but not too worried, given that if we’re talking about a former foe here, that means that we’ve already seen the team take this character on once before. Doesn’t mean that they can do it again? We know that there may be some more challenges, but they are probably more than capable of finding a way to take him down.
So watch for date night, or watch for the danger or the opportunity to tweet in a series of shocked emojis and gifs. Ultimately, just watch — isn’t that what matters most?
