Fuller House season 4 spoilers: Meet Fernando’s mom!
According to a new report from TVLine, former Wizards of Waverly Place actress Maria Canals-Barrera is going to be coming on board the Netflix series in the aforementioned role. However, at the same time there isn’t all that much known about what sort of character she will be amidst the larger ensemble. We do think that she could be a good source of humor, especially since Fernando and Kimmy routinely do bring their fair share of hijinks to the table. She’ll probably get roped into that, and with Stephanie being pregnant with Kimmy and Fernando’s baby, it seems like meeting a grandchild could be a big part of why she is suddenly paying a visit. With this, we certainly hope that there are many great Kimmy scenes with her.
Given that we are in the fourth season of the series, in a lot of ways we are honestly rather shocked that Fuller House has not given us an opportunity to meet Fernando’s mom before now or understand a little bit more of her background. One of the best things about this character is that she allows for there to be a different perspective on the series than what we tend to see. There is something inherently exciting that goes along with that.

The fourth season of Fuller House more than likely will kick off this holiday season, and you’re going to see a number of new guest stars plus also episodes directed by Candace Cameron Bure as well as Dave Coulier. The family atmosphere associated with the show is going to take place both on-screen as well as off.
