Arrow season 7: A new Black Siren – Felicity photo tease
Basically, the CW series at the moment is keeping things under a heavy lock and key when it comes to the upcoming story. We’ve seen teases about the villains, about Oliver being in prison, and about Stephen Amell having a goatee that closely resembles the comic book version of the character. Yet, the writers are trying to keep a relative element of surprise here … though the photo below featuring Katie Cassidy and Emily Bett Rickards raises some questions.
What’s one of the biggest ones? Well, that’s pretty simple: Is Felicity getting hurt? Judging from the bruise on her head, it’s fairly clear that something is going to happen to her. She’s in a pretty dangerous spot moving into season 7 where she could be targeted. There’s a good acting challenge ahead for Emily this season as she finds herself trying to stabilize much of Team Arrow without the actual Green Arrow around, and she’s been a part of it for so long now that she and Diggle are going to be counted on to be leaders.
As for Black Siren, there are plenty of other questions that are worth wondering … especially in terms of whether or not we’re going to see some sort of redemption arc for this character. She’s someone who has certainly shown her dark side already, but there are some glimpses of light within her and based on the end of season 6, we’ve got some hope for the character. (For the record, we’re really hoping that Katie and Emily get some more screen time together this season.)
Arrow season 7 premieres on The CW this October, but we imagine that even with so much under lock and key, there’ll still be some teases along the way.
