Take Two season 1: Three reasons to get hooked

Take Two

We’re coming off of a week when there was no new episode of Take Two on the air, but there are still a handful of stories left to tell this year! The finale is airing in September, and if there’s one thing we’d like to see before then, it’s stronger ratings. This is a show that still has a chance at a second season and with that, we’d like to see it happen by any means necessary.

Therefore, in this article we come bearing three different reasons to dive into the series, in the event that you haven’t already. If you missed it, we also suggest checking out the video below all about the show’s season 2 renewal chances at present — you can subscribe to CarterMatt on Facebook for more!

1. The tone – It feels like in 2018 more than ever before, we need shows that are actually capable of making us laugh. Take Two is not necessarily a comedy, but it does have a lighthearted, fun tone that makes watching it a breeze. It’s a nice bit of summer escapism that so many people need in their lives.

2. The mystery – Also, it’s a quality mystery show to go along with it. The real joy of watching a series like this is sitting around with your friends / family and speculating who the criminal at the heart of the story is and how they went about committing some of their crimes. There is certainly going to be room to do that here yet again.

3. The will-they-or-won’t-they – While it’s certainly an established TV convention, it’s still a really fun one and Take Two has two great characters at the center of it in Sam and Eddie. These are characters who have good chemistry with each other and a reason to eventually consider romance — they offer each other something that they haven’t had before. The larger question is how quickly the writers want to bring them together while being uncertain about the show’s future.
