American Horror Story: Apocalypse spoilers: Taissa Farmiga taking on two roles

When Taissa Farmiga first joined American Horror Story: Apocalypse, the hope here was obvious that she would take on two roles. After all, she just so happened to be a part of both Murder House and Coven, which are the two seasons that are the basis for this season. She hasn’t been on too many other seasons of the series save for some brief series, so it was pretty fortunate that these were the two chosen.

Now, it’s finally nice to have confirmation that Farmiga is in fact going to play both her Coven character Zoe as well as Violet from Murder House. This was first confirmed via Entertainment Weekly, and while we do wonder how this is going to be possible, we’re starting to think that we’re at the point where we should just stop asking questions when it comes to this series.

Basically, think about things like this: There are a ton of characters appearing on the series this season that are already dead, which suggests that this Apocalypse series is happening either in the afterlife or some crazy event causes so many dead characters to come back to life. Given that this is an idea that executive producer Ryan Murphy has been planning for a rather-long time, we’re sure that he has some sort of idea as to how all of this is going to make sense. Maybe it won’t make a whole lot of sense in a scientific way, but we don’t really think that this is the point of the show. It’s more about finding a story that is appealing, shocking, and above all else entertaining. While not all seasons of this franchise have been perfect, they’ve certainly succeeded at generating a heck of a lot of headlines.
