Lodge 49 episode 4 preview: Dud and Ernie’s investigation
In the closing minutes of episode 1×03, Dud made a rather shocking discovery — a dead body buried within the walls of the lodge. It doesn’t seem as though anyone knows how it got there, and that may be one of the questions that the next episode asks. Beyond that, these people are also going to have to figure out whose body it is. That’s the first clear clue to figuring out exactly what happened here. Below, the Lodge 49 episode 4 synopsis offers up a little bit more news when it comes to what lie ahead on the series:
Dud and Ernie venture out into the kingdom of Long Beach to find Larry. Liz spends her day off at work.
This synopsis basically proves further everything that we’ve just said. Dud is going to obsess himself over something that he really doesn’t know anything about, while Liz is probably going to continue to be what she’s been almost all season: Desperate. She realizes that she needs to find a way out of her current situation and maybe continuing to work is the major way in which she can do that … provided that she’s at the restaurant for work reasons. Given the sort of establishment in which this appears to be, why else would she want to be there?
After tonight’s episode, the biggest thing we know is that we’re more curious than ever as to what’s coming up. For the first time all season, we now have a good sense of urgency.
