The Resident season 2 spoilers: Gilmore Girls alum reuniting with Matt Czuchry

The Resident

If you love The Resident plus some other shows Matt Czuchry used to be a part of, we come bearing great news for you today! Tanc Sade confirmed himself in a new post on his Instagram that he is going to be appearing on an upcoming episode of the Fox medical drama. He and Czuchry worked together on Gilmore Girls many years ago, for some of you who are especially-nostalgic TV fans, there’s a good chance that you are going to find this appearance to be quite the treat.

As for who Sade is going to be playing, he is currently expected to take on the part (via TVLine) of Josh Robinson, a “professional extrama adventure guide” who, of course, finds himself in a time of crisis where Czuchry’s Conrad Hawkins has to treat him. (Did you really think that they were going to bring him on board and not have him interact with his former co-star? Crazy talk.)

The Resident at the moment is gearing up for a pretty exceptional second season and, to date, they’ve already solidified a number of the things that it wants to do. For one, Malcolm-Jamal Warner is going to be a series regular as The Raptor, and beyond that you are going to see appearances from everyone from Jane Leeves to Jenna Dewan. There is also going to be a chance coming up in order to see Dr. Lane Hunter at least one more time — even though she was arrested, we of course do still have questions as to whether or not this is going to be a permanent arrangement for her. She’s somehow been able to weasel her way out of many other situations in the past and because of that, it certainly feels as though anything is possible.
