Better Call saul season 4 episode 2 video: Will Jimmy take a sales job?

Better Call Saul season 4Moving into Better Call Saul season 4 episode 2 on AMC Monday night, Jimmy McGill is looking for work.

At the moment, we know that Bob Odenkirk’s character is unable to get back to work as an attorney, but he still has bills to pay! That’s why he will be looking for work elsewhere Monday night, including at a new sales job where it just so turns out some of his mail-room experience is actually turning out to be somewhat of an asset! You can see a little of this in the sneak peek below. It appears as though he is impressing with some of his knowledge … though we don’t think that anyone should be talking with Jimmy about a device that can counterfeit money. Sounds too much like a Slippin’ Jimmy scheme if we’ve ever heard one.

As fascinating as this preview is, though, the big question that we have remains unanswered: How is Jimmy going to be able to land a new job? Isn’t the background check going to reveal what happened to him? When you’ve got a history of doing some shady business and getting in trouble, that should make it so much harder when it comes to securing a future. With that being said, though, Jimmy is looking to get into sales. If there was a place that seems like it’d be perfect for him, this could very well be it. He’s great at convincing anyone to buy into him even when it is not in their best interest to do so. There’s actually something that he could learn from this job as he continues the sad transition into Saul Goodman.

This is a big part of what makes this particular season so interesting — while the character himself is still around, at the same time we’re watching Jimmy disintegrate before our eyes. The likable guy we once knew is going to vanish into thin air.
