The Bold Type season 3 premiere date hopes for Katie Stevens, cast
Let’s start with a reminder that there is in fact, going to be a season 3 — we know that there hasn’t been all that much news shared on that subject as of late, but the big reason for that is because the show was actually greenlit for more episodes all the way back after the first season. It’s rare that a show early on in its run, especially one with okay-but-not-great ratings, ends up getting an order of two more seasons. Yet, it has proven itself to be a great show so far and viewers have seemed to really enjoy it. Freeform has managed to secure some pretty steady numbers for the second season, and with all of the hot-button topics that The Bold Type covers there may be a perception that a third season will do the same.
Granted, we do still think that you’re going to be waiting a good while in order to see the series come back on the air — the early renewal by no means guarantees that you’re going to be seeing new episodes all that much earlier in 2019. We’re anticipating now a spring / summer premiere, especially since the network is likely going to use this time slot earlier in the year for the final episodes of Shadowhunters — otherwise known as that series that really should have been renewed for some additional episodes as well.
Odds are, Freeform will announce more news on The Bold Type season 3 at some point in 2019 but for now, just kick back and relax following this season and have no fears over the future. If you really enjoy the show, the number one thing that we can suggest is that you find a way to get the word out to some of your friends that you enjoy the show, given that this is going to be one of the best ways to really expand out the viewership moving forward.
