Chesapeake Shores season 3 episode 2 preview: ‘The Way We Were’

Chesapeake ShoresWant to know what could lie ahead on Chesapeake Shores season 3 episode 2, following the events of the premiere? Well, next week’s episode “The Way We Were” is going to continue the events of this episode while also introducing some new challenges. There is going to be a good chance to see a very-desperate Nell doing her part to try to make a difference with the Wish Foundation. Meanwhile, the pasts of at least two different characters are going to come back in some very different, exciting ways.

Below, the Chesapeake Shores season 3 episode 2 synopsis offers up some fantastic scoop as to what is coming up next:

Nell tries to save the Wish Fountain; Abby discovers a never-opened letter that she sent to Trace; Mick inherits a sailboat and reunites with his brother Thomas; Bree welcomes an old friend back into her life.

The story of the series is going to continue to be exciting for some; yet, we’re also wondering whether or not the ratings are going to be as solid as they’ve been in the past. While we don’t often see Chesapeake Shores completely dominate in terms of press, it drew a solid 0.2 rating in the 18-49 demographic and close to 1.8 million viewers last season. That’s pretty good for a series on the Hallmark Channel. It does skew older than many other shows out there (we know that most networks care a lot about the demo), but Hallmark has geared most of their shows to suit their average viewership. This one is no exception.

All in all, we want to see season 3 get off to a great start since the longer season 3 lasts, the more likely it’s going to be that some other competition could start to whittle it away a little bit. Just think along the lines of NFL football and fall schedules of some of the major broadcast networks.
