Real Housewives of Orange County preview: Vicki Gunvalson confronted, again

Real Housewives of Orange County

We’ve got another episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County coming onto Bravo Monday night, and it shouldn’t come as a shock that there’s drama coming in the midst of two characters who are out at some sort of food / drink establishment. How often does this happen on the show? Think all of the time.

On this upcoming episode, you’re going to see Vicki Gunvalson and Kelly Dodd in particular find themselves in the midst of an argument over what appears to be the difference between earning vs. deserving respect … basically, the sort of stuff that does tend to spiral into arguments that are so much larger than they really should be. You’re also going to have a chance to see some interaction between all of the Housewives in ways that we haven’t seen so far this season, which could go a wide variety of ways given that not everyone on this show is necessarily going to be friendly to everyone else. How often have they been in the past? That feels a little hit-or-miss, and that’s us being nice.

Below, the synopsis for Monday’s Real Housewives of Orange County gives you a little more information as to what’s coming:

While Shannon gets her daughter’s opinion on her new business venture, Tamra visits the doctor and finds out her broken foot may require surgery. Gina’s mom visits from Long Island, while Emily’s mother-in-law Pary gives advice on how to motivate Shane. Vicki and Kelly have a tense meeting over coffee, where only one housewife walks away satisfied. At a group dinner, Shannon and Vicki meet Emily and Gina for the first time. Vicki gets raked over the coals by the ladies for secretly going on double-dates with Kelly’s ex-husband.

While there are going to be some fun moments in this upcoming episode, including one extremely over-eager mother-in-law, there is also a little bit of sadness. You see that in a few different scenes in the promo, and we wonder just how long that is going to last all season.
