The good thing is likely this: An opportunity for a fantastic performance from Katherine Barrell, who is going to have a chance here for some powerful material separate from anything that she’s done so far. We do think that the specter of Dolls is there, but with this show, you also have to figure out a way in which to move forward. There’s not a whole lot of time to breathe in a series like this when there is so much happening at almost every single turn.

The forest reveals its secrets – and a clue to Nicole’s past. Meanwhile, Wynonna pays an unexpected visit to her mother.
This visit, seemingly, is in contrast to the one that Wynonna received on episode 2, which was largely in her mind. This should really give us a chance to see some differing points of view and with that, so much more drama. It’s precisely what we want for a show like this.
We picked the Wayhaught photo above mostly because the relationship is often a happy one; yet, in the midst of everything that Nicole is going through next week, there is no guarantee that we’re going to see a plethora of happy moments from start to finish.
