Power season 5 episode 6 video: Will Ghost, Dre partner up?
As a matter of fact, the new sneak peek below (via TV Guide) makes it seem as though this is actually something that Ghost wants to do, though we certainly have our doubts as to whether or not he will actually pull this off. There are still so many questions here that remain.
1. How genuine is Ghost really being? – There is that whole expression of “keep your friends close and your enemies closer,” and we do certainly think that it is applicable here. It makes at least a little bit of sense for Ghost to try and draw Dre in, especially when it comes to the Queens project and also all of his other dealings. It creates a false sense of security and may shrink down the chip on Dre’s shoulder that he seems to have.
2. Will Dre actually accept it? – for the sake of good TV, we hope that he does, but still does everything within his power behind the scenes to try and go against him. From our vantage point, some of the best storylines on this show are when you have characters who both act one way to each other’s faces and then plot the other person’s demise behind the scenes. If we get that hire, odds are that the remainder of the season will be all sorts of fire.
No matter what, it’s hard to think that we’re nearing the end of Ghost vs. Dre … we’re only at the halfway point in the season.
