Queen of the South season 3 episode 8 preview: Teresa’s dangerous deal
The biggest struggle that is going to come in episode 8 for Teresa is one born out of desperation. She’s making a move to get ahead, presumably in hopes of avoiding anyone else who has been close to her after having that happen in a major way already. Yet, in making a move like this, there’s always going to be blowback — that is what she has to prepare herself for moving forward from here. As we move into the home stretch of the season, that means even bigger decisions — and, of course, bigger consequences.
Below, the Queen of the South season 3 episode 8 synopsis offers up a little more information when it comes to what lies ahead:
In a bold plan to take over all drug distribution in Phoenix, Teresa makes a deal with the devil.
Do we think that ll of these consequences are going to be apparent right away? Probably not, and that is a big part of what makes this story so intriguing. It’s so much more about a slow burn, and about expecting things to go one way before they completely veer off the rails and venture in a very different direction. That’s what we anticipate happening by the end of the season now. we certainly don’t think that season 3 is going to be the end of this journey, so season 4 down the road could bring forward a whole new conflict.
With that being said, though, we do have a good bit of story to tell before we even get around to that point! Be prepared for a few more twists and turns around every corner.
