Bosch season 5 spoilers: Sons of Anarchy alum Ryan Hurst signs on

Bosch season 5 premiere date

Just in case you wanted another reason to be excited for Bosch season 5, here it is: Sons of Anarchy alum Ryan Hurst is signing on for a big role.

According to a report from TVLine, the actor will be playing the character of Hecter Bonner on the Amazon series. Bonner is a former client of attorney Honey Chandler (Mimi Rogers), and he now has come on board as her investigator. This is the sort of person any good attorney needs so that they can make sure that they can build the best case possible.

What’s also exciting about Hurst joining Bosch is that he and series star Titus Welliver have a history already of working on Sons of Anarchy, so there’s a little bit of connective tissue here and that always helps.

Bosch has become one of the biggest hits for Amazon since its inception, and in many ways it is one of their most groundbreaking shows. It helped them to really establish themselves as a player within the scripted drama space and we hope that it sticks around for many more years to come. It all just depends on how willing some of these cast members are to continue to play some of these roles, but we are hopeful that if the story stays as strong as it’s been that everyone will be happy to do 20 more seasons of it.

If you haven’t seen Sons of Anarchy, there’s a chance that you also know Hurst either from Bates Motel or Outsiders, which aired on WGN America back when they were briefly in the original programming space. Unfortunately, you are likely going to be waiting for a while in order to see Hurst in action, as Bosch season 5 will not premiere until some point in 2019. We have a long wait ahead of us folks!
