Animal Kingdom season 3 episode 10 video: Deran, Billy fight over J
To be a little more specific, Billy wants more money, and at the moment he’s rather upset with the way in which it’s all being handled. Billy clearly feels like his contributions are worth more than what he is receiving, and he is upset that he hasn’t received everything that he feels he deserves. To go along with that, he doesn’t love the fact that J is the money guy and not his son … even if this is the way that Deran wants it.
Ultimately, at the end of the sneak peek (which CarterMatt has for you below) Deran makes one thing clear: If he wants to get some advice as to how to get some of his money back, he needs to go and have a conversation with J about it. Yet, he’s going to get the same answers from him that he’s getting now.
What we think that this sneak peek is really emblematic of more so than anything else is some of the trouble that is almost certainly going to be coming up for these characters. Billy came back for a reason, and we don’t believe a good 99% of everything he says including that he has come back in order to spend some quality time with his son. He has to have a deeper motivation for being around since otherwise, very little we know about this character would make any sense at all.
We’ll hopefully get some more information on Billy moving into the rest of the season; at the moment, we certainly would argue that he could be the biggest thorn in the Cody Boys’ side as we get close to the finale.
