Vikings season 5: Clive Standen and some axe-throwing fun
In the new video below (via History Canada), you can get a pretty good sense of Standen’s knife-throwing skills. It’s a fun little game here that combines viking trivia and also some axe-throwing. If you love yourself some Rollo (we are huge fans here at CarterMatt), this video is pretty much a must-watch!
We know that there’s a lot to be excited about moving into the second half of the season if you consider yourself to be a big Rollo fan. His return was teased at the end of the first half of the season and moving forward, you’re going to get a good chance to see him interact with some other favorite characters. As for how long he is going to be around, there is an element of mystery still there, just as there is when it comes to who’s side he’s really on. We know that he lent his army to Ivar to over throw Lagertha, but under the condition that Bjorn be left alive. With Rollo now on his way, is it possible that’s he’s gotten word that Ivar is ready to destroy everyone in his path including Bjorn? We also know that Rollo and Lagertha have a rather complicated history and that he’s loved her a very long time, so this is a reunion we are eager to see play out. Is it Novemeber yet?
Vikings season 5 has ten more episodes to go and beyond that, there’s still a season 6 on the horizon. The sixth season is going to premiere some time in 2019 and we’re certainly excited to see what comes from that. We’re also eager to see what’s next for Standen, who’s always been a magnetic actor and is now coming off of his time on Taken, which aired on NBC for two seasons. He can tackle action just like he can also take on some really intense character drama, so what we are really hoping for here is a Rollo spin off.
