The Sinner season 2 video: Who is Heather Novack? About the character
In the video below, Natalie Paul introduces you to her character, a police officer who ends up being the real entry point for bringing Harry Ambrose (Bill Pullman) into the case at hand. She knows Ambrose through her father, and she is also familiar about the work that he did on the Cora Tannetti case back in season 1. As a result of that, she gets in contact with him for a little bit of help.
The case at the start of this season revolves around a young boy named Julian who seems to have poisoned his parents — he admits that he is responsible for it, but there are still many questions as to precisely how and why. That’s what Novack and Ambrose could be spending this season trying to find out and we imagine that it’s going to be rather difficult and even traumatic at times. The best way to explain it is simply this: The more that it appears that there are answers, the more complicated it ultimately could become. We don’t think that there is going to be an easy conclusion to almost anything with this show, and hopefully Novack and Ambrose can handle some of what is about to come their way.
What is somewhat interesting about season 2 is that there is a greater sense of freedom to it — there isn’t as clear of a guide out there to what is coming or what could happen. With that, hopefully we’re all going to be on the same page together unraveling every loose thread and figuring out just what is going on.
