Take Two episode 8 spoilers: The story of ‘All About Ava’
It has already been established within the world of this show that Sam is famous for a show called Hot Suspect. However, this was far from her first gig on TV. This episode is entitled “All About Ava,” which is appropriate given that this is also the show that first featured Sam as a performer back when she was just a child. This is going to be a chance to explore Sam’s early days, but also potentially in a dark way when she learns that this show is not all that she believed it to be. This entire episode feels almost like one of those unauthorized Lifetime movies where you find out all of the dark stuff that was going on behind the scenes at one of your favorite shows.

Sam takes an unexpected journey into her past when she and Eddie are called on to investigate the seemingly accidental death of Ava Day, star of the ‘90s sitcom “All About Ava,” which featured a 12-year-old Sam in her acting debut as Ava’s little sister. But when the investigation uncovers dark truths about past events, Sam is forced to reconcile her childhood impressions with newly found facts in order to crack the case.

While we don’t love having to see Sam suffer by any means, one of the things that we are the most interested in with this episode is the idea of exploring the past for a character in the public eye. While that’s something you read about in the tabloids, it’s not something often explored on television itself. There is the potential for there to be some rather-good stuff here.
