Save Timeless update: Is work being done behind the scenes?

Are we getting closer to learning, once and for all, if there will be another season of Timelessor at least a movie?

For the time being, to say anything definite would be premature, but there is something that is very clear right now: Even though contracts may have expired, nobody seems to be altogether keen to let the series go at the moment. We saw the epic helicopter showcase at San Diego Comic-Con, and beyond just that, Sony TV’s Chris Parnell posted about the gift of cupcakes that were received — a deliver from many of the show’s diehard fans.

We know that there have been a few cryptic messages here and there across the internet, but for the time being we don’t want to read too much into anything. After all, we all want to see Timeless back on another network so badly that we will believe almost anything that our mind wants to.

The most hopeful, tangible thing that we can say is that there are still some efforts happening behind the scenes, whether they be in the form of a movie, a third season, or something else. If hope was lost, especially after cast contracts were expired, do you think that Parnell would make it clear that they are still fighting to save the show? Do you think that the cast would be as active or appreciate of everyone’s efforts?

It’s clear at this point that there is a clear desire among the cast and crew to do more of the show. While eventually everyone may have to move on if nothing happens, nobody’s quite at that point just yet. There remains an enthusiasm and a feeling that Timeless is special; beyond that, there is also an understanding that a gig like this only comes around so often.

If you missed it, we recorded a video about the helicopter flyover immediately after it happened this past weekend! You can check that out in the video below, and we advise you to subscribe for more updates — also, check out our Timeless playlist!
