The 100 season 5 episode 12 preview: The two-part finale kicks off

The 100

The 100 season 5 episode 12 is probably not the sort of episode you can really prepare for. It’s rather hard to, after all, when you consider the circumstances. This is the big season finale and over the course of it, we’re going to see characters in danger — and some potentially even die. Wonkru is in a most dire situation and we’re going to be seeing many characters rally together.

In some ways, you can argue that this episode of The 100 will show us more of why we love some of the good guys so much, whether it be their determination, spirit, and simply their attempts to try and make this world a better place. Unfortunately, sometimes being selfless comes with consequences. There are many people over time who have died for the sake of trying to fight for something bigger. There will be more.

The 100 season 5 episode 12 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little more insight as to what’s coming up next:

SEASON FINALE PART ONE – In part one of the fifth season finale, Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) leads her people into war. While behind enemy lines, our heroes must overcome their differences to save Wonkru from extinction. Eliza Taylor, Bob Morley, Paige Turco, Henry Ian Cusick, Marie Avgeropoulos, Lindsey Morgan, Richard Harmon, Chris Larkin and Tasya Teles also star. Dean White directed the episode written by Justine Juel Gillmer (#512). Original airdate 7/31/2018.

Judging from the information that is out there at the moment regarding this episode, don’t expect all that much in the way of closure. Whatever happens here is almost surely going to carry right over into whatever happens in the finale … which could still have a way of torturing you moving into season 6. There’s a long hiatus coming, and that may be quite painful in its own right.
