When Chicago Med season 4 premieres on NBC this fall, there are going to be new faces stopping by played by Molly Bernard and Colby Lewis. Obviously, it makes sense for new people to pop in and out of the hospital since that’s the nature of the business and as much as we love the cast we already have it’s always nice to have some new faces in the mix.
Take a look below (via Deadline), for some more information on the characters below.
Molly Bernard – The Younger alum is set to appear on the show as an “intelligent, know-it-all, intense and overconfident med student” named Elsa Curry. She knows that she is very good at what she does and because of that, she will brag about it relentlessly. She’s someone who does have a lot of potential, but she needs to dial back a certain part of her personality in order to ensure that she is successful. She’s still young, so she does have a chance to figure things out.
Colby Lewis – Meanwhile, the One Tree Hill actor is also going to be a medical student, although his character of Terry McNeal couldn’t be more different. He’s a guy who opted to pursue a career in medicine rather than continue to be a star football player — maybe he learned a thing or two about CTE, or just realized that he has a passion somewhere else.
Both of these characters are going to be third-year medical students, and we do wonder if they could graduate to becoming larger parts of the show moving forward. Regardless, we’re glad to see that there is some new blood in the hospital — after all, with that comes new conflict!
Chicago Med season 4 will premiere on NBC Wednesdays this fall, where it is going to be a part of a lineup that also includes Chicago Fire and Chicago PD.
