Salvation season 2 episode 6 preview: Can the country come together?

Salvation season 2 episode 6

As we move forward into Salvation season 2 episode 6 next week, there is a sense of idealism in the air. This is what happens when you have a President who is trying to bring everyone together with the hope of not only peace, but survival. There’s at least a façade on some level that everyone may be able to get through this okay. Regardless of the truth of the matter, sometimes people just want a little bit of hope to feel better.

Unfortunately, what chance of hope there is next week will be undone rather quickly, and for a number of different reasons. The Salvation season 2 episode 6 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below offers up a little more insight on what’s next:

“Let the Chips Fall” – Darius and Grace’s relationship is tested, and President Mackenzie (Tovah Feldshuh) attempts to bring the fractured country together while the hacktivist group Re/Syst issues a deadly edict, on SALVATION, Monday, July 30 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Of course, Re/Syst is going to continue to be the thorn in everyone’s side. They are the sort of group who will stand atop a mountain and proclaim that they’ve got the key to the kingdom, but at what cost? What are the real ramifications of what they do? That’s something that this episode could offer up some more insight on. Beyond just that, any test of Grace and Darius’ relationship is going to be likely amplified by what they went through at the end of this past season. Because of the way in which Darius handled her feelings at the start of this season, they’ve been on shaky ground ever since. If the test that hits them is severe enough, it’s easy to understand that they may not be able to withstand it.
