SEAL Team season 2 filming officially underway

SEAL Team premiere ratings

For everyone out there eager to see SEAL Team season 2, we come bearing good news: Filming is officially underway!

This week, production first kicked off for the David Boreanaz series, and we certainly expect it to keep going for many more months. What is so interesting about season 1 is that it really feels like two different seasons in one, with the second part of it become much more serialized courtesy of a deployment and a central mission. There’s a lot of flexibility that the show has entering season 2, but there are also some big challenges. Take, for example, trying to figure out what the new challenges are for Jason and some of the other characters, and the ramifications that the military life could have on their time away from the team. The show sought out to make both a thrilled and a character drama in season 1, and we imagine that this is going to continue.

The biggest challenge for SEAL Team season 2 is mostly going to be us having to wait for it given that there is still a rather-long time to go between where things are right now and later this fall, when the latest batch of episodes is actually going to premiere. We expect some twists and turns, and we hope that there will also be some individual spotlight episodes for a number different characters. Season 1 was really the opportunity to introduce you to the world. Meanwhile, the second season really should be a chance for us to dive deeper into all of these characters in order to better understand precisely who they are.

Also, we want to see some more arcs like what we had in the spring. Is that too much to ask?
