Elementary season 6 episode 14 spoilers: Joan’s mother Mary returns

Elementary season 6 episode 14 is going to feature the return of Mary Watson, but unfortunately, we don’t have the best of news for Joan’s mother. Instead, her dwindling health is going to require her to get some additional medical care. This may not be the easiest thing for her to handle, regardless of however much experience Joan herself has within the medical field. She still may not be able to convince her to move forward.

Below, the Elementary season 6 episode 14 synopsis offers more information on what’s coming, including information on the case-of-the-week and also a dangerous situation where Detective Bell is in danger:

“Through the Fog” – Holmes and Watson race to help Detective Bell when he becomes a victim of a bio-terrorism attack at the precinct and the station is quarantined. During the lockdown, Captain Gregson and Detective Bell begin to suspect they are trapped inside with the perpetrator. Also, Watson faces the difficult task of helping her mother, Mary (Freda Foh Shen), accept that her advancing Alzheimer’s disease requires her to receive more medical care, on ELEMENTARY, Monday, August 6 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

This hasn’t been the easiest situation for Watson, who has to balance this out with trying to handle Sherlock (who had his own health struggles that, luckily, seem to be in the past now) and also her quest to adopt. We would love for Watson’s mother to meet her adoptive grandchild someday, so we hope that this story pans out in a way where she can get the help that she needs.

When it comes to Detective Bell, we also have to be rather cognizant of the fact that this hasn’t been the easiest season for him either. On Monday night’s new episode, for example, he’s going to come to a difficult situation regarding his other future. Judging from the fact that he is in this episode, signs point towards him sticking with the NYPD … but if he’s in serious danger during this episode, he may end up regretting it.
