Code Black season 3 episode 13 video: Origins of the plane crash crisis
In the sneak peek below, you can get a small sense of what we’re talking about here. The hospital is already overrun with patients, and that is before the news starts to trickle in about another crisis that is flooding the emergency room. We know that to be a plane crash, but that’s something that the doctors are not able to pick up on in real time. Code Black is a show that has always been about what happens to a hospital at capacity, and we think that this finale is going to be as good of an example of that as any.
In the midst of all of this, there are still some other issues that need to be resolved. For example, Ethan Willis’ condition is clearly deteriorating, and we hope that the finale can offer up some more resolution to that particular issue. Meanwhile, Leanne is also going to attend her custody hearing regarding Ariel — we know that there are some unanswered questions with this story, but we definitely expect some of those to be answered by the time we do make it to the part of the story where her fate is determined.
For those wondering, Seitzman did also tease to TVInsider that he has another idea for a season 4 in the event that the show gets a chance to make one. That does not feel likely, but we do think in the world of TV, it’s always best to adopt a never-say-never sort of philosophy. Anything can happen, and we do know that the ratings for season 3 have certainly been a pleasant surprise given the difficult summer timeslot.
