Lucifer season 4: What should we see in a trailer?

Lucifer

What would make for a great Lucifer season 4 trailer? We know that there are a number of different components that could be included in theory, but the focus of this article is rather simple: Talking about the must-haves. These are the things that we anticipate having in a trailer and are, therefore, the things that will make us smile from ear to ear.

Let’s not waste too much time on the introduction, as we’ve got a lot of different things to discuss here!

1. A tease about Lucifer / Chloe – Regardless of whether or not you ‘ship Deckerstar, it feels inevitable that there is a resolution that needs to be had here to the finale cliffhanger with Chloe finding out about Lucifer’s Devil Face. We don’t need to see the resolution to it, but a little bit of additional insight would certainly be nice.

2. Where is Amenadiel? – We want to see at least the question come up in the trailer, even if D.B. Woodside never makes an appearance himself. He took Charlotte to Heaven at the end of season 3 and while we presume that he’d come back in due time, we have many questions about when, how, and if his relationship with the other characters will be any difference.

3. The state of the LAPD – With Marcus Pierce gone, is it really business as usual? Is there someone else who comes in and fills that role? It feels like there’s an opportunity for at least one new character coming with Charlotte dead and Tom Welling gone. Getting a small glimpse would be most welcome.

4. Of course, humor – Story points aside, the charm of Lucifer is one of the reasons that we love it. This is a show that provides a sense of tremendous joy during a dark time, and we do still recognize that it is weird to say that in a relation to a show about the devil. Yet, here we are.

Lucifer season 4 will most likely premiere in 2019, though nothing is confirmed as of yet.
