UnREAL season 4 hits Hulu; Stranger Things 3 premiere window; Fear the Walking Dead scoop (Quick Hits)

UnREAL season 4 cast

We’re kicking off this particular edition of TV Quick Hits with some big news for everyone out there eager to see UnREAL season 4. You don’t have to wait any longer!

In a surprise move, today Hulu dropped the entire fourth season to be binge-watched to your heart’s content. That is somewhat of a surprise, though there were some rumors out there about something like this happening for weeks. The fourth season was already airing in Australia earlier than in the United States on Lifetime, and at this point, it’s unclear if the series will ever air on the network.

This shift comes after season 3 drew more positive feedback than the second season beforehand; yet, it also featured far lower ratings. UnREAL is a perfect show for binge-watching, so with that, the move does make some sense.

As for some other news…

Stranger Things 3 premiere window

Today, Netflix released a new teaser-of-sorts for what will be coming down the road for the show … but also indicated in the process that season 3 is likely not going to premiere until next summer. That’s a long time to wait, not that we’re altogether surprised about this given that this show had a pretty long break between seasons 1 and 2. Still, we do think we all should enjoy Stranger Things while we can — given that so much of the show’s charm lies with its young cast members, we wouldn’t be shocked if season 4 marked the end of the road. (For the record, season 4 hasn’t been confirmed as of yet.)

Expect a more formal Stranger Things 3 trailer at some point next year — like we said, you’ll be waiting a while for more news here.

Fear the Walking Dead tease…

While it’s a small one, we thought we’d pass along, via SpoilerTV, that “People Like Us” is the title for the upcoming season 4 premiere. This is going to be a pivotal episode, largely in that this is the first full episode following the departure of Kim Dickens (Madison) as a series regular.
