Lethal Weapon season 3 filming starting soon; can the series recover?

For everyone curious about Lethal Weapon season 3 and what’s coming, we’re almost at the time of some big news. Filming for the Fox series will be starting up shortly, and over the course of the coming weeks we imagine that more details are going to be coming about the story ahead.

Yet, in the process we feel like the series is stuck between a rock and a hard place. For the cast and crew who work on the show, it’s a job and a place for them to get their work out there for people to see. A number of them may enjoy it and have great friendships there. However, it’s also going to be tested in dramatic fashion by fans of Clayne Crawford still disappointed over the actor’s dismissal. That specter, which most of the cast and crew probably will not have much control over, is going to be hanging over it for a while.

Can Lethal Weapon recover from everything that happened behind the scenes? The first order of business is making sure Seann William Scott is comfortable and that viewers appreciate his character as soon as possible. He is a good actor who is worthy of this chance, but he’s got an uphill battle due to the character he is replacing.

We know that there are many out there who aren’t interested in watching Lethal Weapon without Clayne Crawford. Meanwhile, there are others who may want to give the show a chance. We know that the people supporting Clayne are the more vocal group on social media, but how will this translate in terms of the ratings? This is something we’re very curious to see entering season 3. It’s one of the most interesting ratings mysteries coming up.
