Riverdale season 3 scoop; One Day at a Time casts Brooklyn Nine-Nine actors; new Jason Momoa series (quick hits)
Welcome to a new edition of Quick Hits! We’re kicking off this one with a new bit of Riverdale season 3 scoop, mostly because the enthusiasm between now and the premiere this fall is already bubbling over.
In a new post on Twitter, executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa confirms that the second installment of the season (premiering this October) is entitled “Fortune and Men’s Eyes.” Is there a clue-of-sorts in the image used for the top script page? We do think there’s a case to be made for that … but it is also just the front page of the script. What we know, at least for now, is that prison is going to be key to the start of the season due in part to what’s going on with Archie. At this point, we’re just hoping that there is a way for him to escape all of this coming up.
No matter what happens, though, we have a feeling that it’s going to be dramatic! This is, after all, Riverdale we are talking about.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine stars on One Day at a Time
For those of you who love the Netflix comedy, this is fantastic news! Per a post on Twitter, Melissa Fumero confirms that she and her Brooklyn Nine-Nine co-star Stephanie Beatriz are going to guest star on the upcoming. There aren’t too many more details out there about their characters just yet, but given their talent we have to assume that it’s going to be rather fun.
The two are able to do this, in part, because Brooklyn Nine-Nine having a smaller episode count for season 6 means a little bit of a larger break.
Jason Momoa’s new series
The Game of Thrones alum — and Aquaman himself — looks to be heading over to Apple for his latest project. In See (per Deadline), Momoa is going to play Baba Voss, a fearless warrior, in what is being described as a high-ambitious, futuristic drama. Just getting Momoa on board is a great way to attract attention from the jump. Steven Knight and Francis Lawrence are billed as executive producers on the project.
