Outlander notes: Sam Heughan highlights and other BTS teases
Let’s start with turning the page a little bit to Sam’s latest movie project. Outlander season 4 is over and with that, be prepared for a lot of promotion for The Spy Who Dumped Me over the next month or so. Sam appears in the film alongside Kate McKinnon and Mila Kunis, and you can see a behind-the-scenes tease for the film below via ET Canada. The video features primarily Kunis and McKinnon, but you do still get a good sense in it as to precisely what’s coming up.
For those of you who do want to see Sam in a very different light, and in a film that is much more based on comedy, we definitely think that this movie could be your cup of tea. While we’re note a movie site, we’ll have a few stories about The Spy Who Dumped Me here and there due to the obvious Outlander connection.

Fun with Rollo
Just in case you want to see a cute puppy picture today (and who doesn’t?), take a look at the first time executive producer Matthew B. Roberts met Rollo in a post on Twitter. Rollo was actually the first new character cast for Outlander season 4, mostly because there was a good bit of training required for this particular part. Working with animals, after all, is not always the easiest thing to do.
Remember, you will have a chance to see Rollo and so much more when Outlander season 4 premieres on Starz this November.
