Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 6 to have San Diego Comic-Con panel

Brooklyn Nine-Nine season 5

How about this for a wonderful San Diego Comic-Con surprise? Following its campaign to be saved and its arrival over at NBC, Brooklyn Nine-Nine is going to be heading down to the convention for a panel this month!

The tweet below via NBC makes it clear that Brooklyn Nine-Nine will be heading to the Indigo Ballroom for a discussion on Thursday, July 19 starting at 7:00 p.m. Pacific time for what we imagine is going to be a giant party for many of the cast and crew. This is a series that is absolutely beloved by many people, and it’s probably actually stronger creatively right now than it’s ever been. We imagine, as a result of that, there’s going to be a lot of fun stuff to talk about over the course of the panel!

Also, we do recognize that Brooklyn Nine-Nine probably needs this panel in order to keep the hype going for the series for at least a little while longer. After all, the new batch of episodes over on NBC isn’t going to premiere until 2019 and we really hope that they will draw some great ratings. On paper, we do think that the series is a better fit for this network than it ever was for Fox, both in terms of its comedy and also its cast. Yet, we also know that in the world of live television there are no guarantees; plus, we also think that Brooklyn Nine-Nine is probably watched significantly more by people after the fact than it is live.

If nothing else, we’ll be happy if this entire panel is just people shouting “NOICE!” at each other alongside various other quotes. We’re not expecting much when it comes to plot spoilers and we’ll be more than fine if there aren’t any at all. Just give us a few reasons to laugh and we’re good.
