Vikings season 5: See Katheryn Winnick’s cryptic tease…
In a new post via Instagram (see below), you can see an image from the actress alongside the caption “soon,” which may be an indicator that there could be some additional updates coming up before too long when it comes to the series. We know based on yesterday that the History drama is going to be present at San Diego Comic-Con later this month, and if there was ever a time to share some more news in regards to the future of Vikings, it feels 100% clear (at least to us) that this is going to be it. This would mark a great opportunity to know a little more news in regards to the show’s return, whether it be a return date, a teaser, or some other good stuff revolving around the second half of the season.
It’s likely that Winnick’s post is in reference to some more announcements soon regarding the future of the show, something that could be supported more by the show’s own Twitter account starting to become a little more active.
Could it also be a reference to History airing new Vikings episodes soon? We’d certainly love that, as well, largely because it feels like we’ve been waiting forever since the first half of season 5 aired. We know that they are far ahead in filming, so History scheduling a date is really the only thing we’re waiting on at this point.
